Ridiculous back and forth banter. Sheriff should of said, " ok, you know who I am and you know what I did. So make a decision. Write me, arrest me, taze me. Do what you will but I've had enough of your condescending lecture mmkay?"

Then standby! If you are in the Ft. Pierce area, you got a good brand new shiny penny SGT coming. Ha. What a stellar offering to the FHP leadership. He will have his arse handed to him by a seasoned vet. I wish you all well with that one.

I don't know if it could be any worse than the one that transferred out a few months ago.

OMG do you guys take a psychological. You guys are either retarded or crazy. Maybe the patrol should issue you guys a short bus. That way it will remind you when you went to school.

    Re: Trooper stops Sheriff

The sheriff of Liberty County believes that he has the right and legal authority to run up I-95 north bound to catch up to a school bus "10-18". He does not!
He is over 400 miles from his one horse area of Liberty County.

He's flashing his emergency lights to move traffic out of his way. If he was such a good escorting LEO he would have never let the bus get out of his sight. Is he really needed for the escort, absolutely not!

Then he tries to use a local sheriffs name, and intimidate the trooper by name dropping the wrong sheriffs name, and then again tries to intimidate the trooper by dropping " you will hear from the colonel". That piece of crap got exactly what was coming to him, arrested some two weeks later for fraud. He was a fraud then and was arrested for being a fraud two weeks later.

HE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO LEGAL RIGHT OR AUTHORITY TO "flash his emergency lights" outside of LIBERTY COUNTY. Since Liberty County is a one light county this bozo has no clue what happens in the real world. Could the Trooper Sergeant have been more friendly, absolutely.
Was he wrong, NO. How unprofessional for the Sheriff to activate his emergency lights while being pulled over, no class. Then the pot bellied pig Sheriff comes back for more, and wants the Troopers name? Why , so he try to defame the trooper. Thank goodness for video. I watched the video and NEVER saw a school bus.

Good job former Pot Bellied Pig Sheriff. You ended up right where you belonged, in jail.
    Scumbag!!!!!!!!!

I don't know the Trooper or the Sheriff.... I just watched the video and shook my head.

    EXCEPT:

He was flashing his headlamps, not emergency lights to get two cars in front of him to move over

    and

He was arrested for "Official Misconduct" (voiding a CCW arrest) and "Altering a Public Record" (allegedly "whiting out" the name of the arrestee from the incomplete jail log).

The trial concluded today, and went to the jury.

    Read all about it: http://www.wctv.tv/home/headlines/Co...225879731.html

    and

What LEO anywhere, if being pulled over, wouldn't turn on his emergency lights for safety/visibility purposes when pulling onto the shoulder of an interstate highway with 70+ MPH traffic??
