People are mad about the photo of Candice Anderson clawing the little red head boys arm in the photo. You obviously are trying to deflect the grave issues at hand. No arrests or prosecutions were made, and this felony child abuse caught on camera. Let someone abuse and batter your child, how would you feel? Again, law enforcement officers and prosecutors have a duty to act. Let a jury figure out whether they are innocent or guilty. This photo and the actions of Candice Anderson and Brittany McGuire sends a strong message to our community and makes one wonder why they are immune to the law? I bet if they red head boy was your child, you would be up on arms! I don't care how bad the boy's were misbehaving, adults should not put hands on any student, it is against the law!!! The special victim's unit has arrested two employee's this past month for aggravated child abuse, one at Sebring High, and the other at Park Elementary in Avon Park. How is this any different?? It's not any different. This would get shuffled through the courts for 2 years, they would take a plea for a lesser charge and life moves on. I get your angry but these people are politically connected and always play the victim's card. This is not the first instance of this family being tied to questionable events or situations. Yes they are rotten, yes they should've been arrested, the Sheriff most likely stalled the trigger on this one because he can't stand the Anderson's and they would try to use his past intimate knowledge to defer prosecution and expert witness testimony. Stop giving these 2 women more reason to get on their soap boxes!
