    Yeah! Try it and let us know how that works out. NJ Col supported the trooper, county sheriff disciplined the deputies. Sounds like the MPD fiasco, just different depts. bunch of local thugs!

    You need to read the Florida State Statutes not the NJ laws.
    The Florida Constitution makes the Sherriff of each county The Highest Ranking Law Enforcement Authority in that county. The Sherriff is an unrestricted law enforcer, while FHP is a division of a civilian regulatory agency, DSMV.
    The problem had been, and continues to be, the testicular challenged leadership that will not put FHP in its place.
