I don't usually come on here, but found this Sgt topic interesting. Then I saw what this new guy wrote above about us " old ****s " ? Listen rookie, first off your a disrespectful little brat, but your remarks are hilarious ! Us "Assholes" as you refer to us "old ****s" had a lot more fun than you guys do now,just ask the oldest , most senior guy that's still there, they may remember ? A LOT more fun, and we stuck together, not like the snitches you have at the MPD now, you moron.

As far as all your other ridiculous remarks like : " None of you could hold a candle to any of us, the New Breed" That's even more hilarious, we ruled the streets, the bad guys respected and feared us, unlike today. Anyone gave you any crap, you slapped the shit out of em, right there, in front of the Sgt, or the crowd around them. And NO, our war stories are REAL , and we did things back then, that you could NEVER get away with today.

One last thing Mr "New Breed" , when I came on in 1971, you had to be at least 5 foot 9 tall, and within weight to height ratio. The physical agility test was WAY more difficult , than what they have been doing the last 30 years or so. Today I see a lot of dwarf cops, short fat asses, and little overweight guys, and gals, many who are afraid of their own shadow, and NO ONE ever snitched, if you did you faced consequences from your own, believe me !

And the girl groupies , WOW ! I worked the Grove most of my career, and had beautiful chicks all the time, till I married one. No Mr New Breed, it is YOU , and your peers, that could never hold a candle to us, you really have no idea what your talking about.
