Loftus is a POS and wasn't the best qualified just a temporary do boy that went away when the mayor was gonna fire him.

Okay enough. We all know where former Director Loftus is. He is in his hometown reunited with an extended family and working a job in the career he loves. He is away from the struggles of MDPD. While JD and JP follow the commands of the Mayor and participate in the total destruction of a once great department, Loftus can look in the mirror and know he would not have agreed to any of the decisions made.
