Latest information is that the suspect hangs out at the CVS drug store, Taco Bell and McDonalds near the corner of Dale Mabry and Lambright.

He has a Mohawk style haircut.

    Watch for him.

HCSO case number is # 12-625927.

Thanks for any assistance you might give.

No, it gets special attention because we have excellent information on what he looks like and where he hangs out. He is undoubtedly a habitual burglar and is making his living burglarizing homes of people who are not ex-deputies. We are trying to stop him for the benefit of the general public.

It is fortunate for the public that this ex-deputy had installed an excellent outside video taping system which is going to be most valuable in apprehending this felon.

Apprehending the felon will do nothing for the ex-deputy victim at this point in terms of restoring his damaged home. Insurance has paid for some of it and he absorbs the rest in his insurance deductible.

If your home were burglarized and you had a video of the burglar and information on where he hung out then your burglar would get similar attention. No favoritism here.

Not to take sides but, I would imagine that there are probably several hundred burglary reports taken by HCSO each month. Are you saying that there are no other burglaries being captured on video at residences or businesses? We all know the answer to that: of course there are, especially at businesses. But none of those show up here, on this site. I'm sure that's what was meant. J/S.

What exactly is your point? This is a law enforcement site. Of course, you have access. Post, if you want to post. This site has nothing to do with the alerts that are placed at the agency with many pictures of suspects. This is not an official HCSO site for posting suspect information but if you want to come on here and share suspect information, go for it.

There are, in fact, FIFTY videos on the official HCSO site including the one that starts this thread.

Generally they are surveillance videos of crimes at businesses. Very few people have surveillance video cameras at their homes. And, unlike the video that starts this thread there is usually no information about where the suspect hangs out.

What makes this video unique is that there is a good picture of a person with very distinguishing features and good information on where he might be found.

As the previous poster said, this is where law enforcement peers exchange information, but if you have good photos of a crime and good leads about identifying and locating the criminals then you can post the information here.

It is not a matter of favoritism.

Reports are handed out as to be invistigated or not based on the information the deputy collects at the scene. So what if we take care of our own? I know I would put in extra hours of my own time to help a fellow deputy out.
