Here is a rundown for ya
Todd troche and Schwieterman are way too new. Todd is a tool who just wants off midnights. He badmouthed the supervisors who were put on admin leave the first shift he worked on nites. Real classy. Troche is a total douche who thinks he is smart but is really a coward afraid to make a decision, Schweit is in so far over his head it’s sad, he is a total company man now. Konst has ruined himself in ia ,,,,, he has gone out of his way to screw people over and is a total suck up kiss ass. No leadership from any of them. Never worked with forth but have never heard anything bad, supposedly very solid,

Personnel movements are something to keep you occupied while the Chief implements her agenda. Keeps people worried about nonsense while she works with her pal in city hall to dismantle the PD. It has nothing to do with the positions/people.....give it a few months and you'll be seeing zone reductions and shift hour changes. Staffing is already dangerously low now without minimum staffing. Be warned.... but remember: It's good for you...you know because Ocean City did it. Watch the hands folks don't listen to the noise.

Enjoy your weekly Chief's video; while you're laughing and making fun she's scheming to make herself look like she's the best Chief in the State, on Facebook/Twitter at least. She still brings her wittle doggy in every day even though the city told her to stop, still takes her car everywhere in the State against city policy, still works 4 hour days, when she is actually here.....all the while she and the CM are laughing all the way to the bank. If any of you people think the chief, the deputy chief, or the captains want to make SPD better for anyone but themselves, you are fooling yourselves. The LTs are not much better. There is not 1 thing that has changed for the better for any of us. But, it seems that almost daily, there are changes that negatively affect all of us. The patrol Captain misinterpreting the contract as for giving officers a day off is a perfect example. They must give a minimum of 2 officers off a day. He is purposely misreading it to benefit himself, and the city to avoid paying overtime if someone calls in sick. Why is it that when our numbers were very low, it was perfectly acceptable to go below 10 officers, and work without a zone 5 or 6 or 8 or to have even 2 zones unfilled. But, now, if 2 officers take a vacation day, and we have several roam cars, other officers are being denied vacation time? So, when it benefits the city, working with 8 or 10 cops is fine, but if we have 15 or 16 cops, and you ask for a day off, it is denied if 2 people already took off. Its absurd. They are trying to make things worse, not better.

If you are in your 20s, and have less than 10 years on, and are able to get hired at any other agency, you really should consider doing so. There is no end in sight for this awful leadership. Look at the LTs who are up for the captain spot. It will only keep getting worse.
