Gotta love the random little trolls who throw in comments like that. The only person who would ever support such a horrible leader is the person who is getting special treatment from dipino in exchange for their support. Dipino brings NOTHING to the table. She was hated in Ocean City, she is hated at SPD. Plain and simple. IT is impossoible to like or respect a person who is so blatantly self absorbed, blatantly plays favorites, blatantly knows nothing about how a PD works, and most importantly blatantly does not know how to treat subordinates. To her we are expendable assets to be used, discarded and replacded.

There is no loyalty from her other than to those who kiss her ass and puff her up every day with their "yes chief", "anything you say chief" attitudes. They go straight to inside positions or cush jobs while others are ignored and legft to rot on the vine. The acting sergeants??? are you kidding me??? One who failed the last written exam and has already allowed illegal arrests to take place, the other an arrogant kid with not even 5 years on the job. At least he has a good LT to watch over him. Its sad.

Meanwhile the FTO program continues its absurdity by allowing officers who are clearly not cut out for the job to keep pushing substandard officers thorough. Its a joke. and its all because of dipino who wants minorities. Keep going worthless chief, there is still some of the old SPD left to crush.

Is the chief right with all of her decisions? No, I don't agree with most of them. But people who talk like this are more of a downfall to the department than her. Yes moral is low and she doesn't help and bickering like little kids and complaining about just makes it worse.

Sorry you got passed up on a cush job, speciality unit or promotion. But instead of doing something about it you come on here and complain like a spoiled child. If you feel you were wronged it should put some fire in your @$$ and motivate you to try harder for that speciality unit or promotionall exam to prove to her that she made a poor decision in the past.

The chief will not be here forever and before you know it another chief will take her place. My suggestion is let's as a department do the best we can without her to make SPD like it was 10 years ago for the next chief when she leaves.

Chief, do you know how bad the moral is on patrol? I know you read this blog and prob even post on it.

The moral is at an all time low and it's even worse that the patrol capt from hell is in charge. That guy shouldn't even be in charge of an ant farm.

I'm just blabbing at this point because nothing will be done because the sworn officers mean nothing to you.

Officers are getting shot and killed all over the world and its just getting worse. But instead of doing things to make the moral better you dumbos amaze us with something more stupid.

When you look back over the history of this thread, you see many of the same words pop up over and over to describe dipino. Words like disgusting, favoritism, horrible, arrogant, uncaring, and retaliatory. No mater how you cut it, there has to be some truth there. Too many people have had too many bad experiences with dipino. It is sad but what is even more sad is that she has been made well aware of how the agency feel about her and has made ZERO effort to fix it. She just doesnt care. In her mind, everything is just fine. Well its not fine chief. Not by a longshot. People are miserable. If your idea of fine is an agency that hates its chief then I feel sorry for you. I guess you are used to that from Ocean City but here at Sarasota it is not the way we are used to doing business.

If you were to leave tomorrow, the only people who would care to say goodbye would be the people who have kissed your rear end from the beginning like Captain Cool-Aid JR, Sgt. RT, and Lt. DK.
