45 GAP or 45ACP

Rumor control central says you guys are looking at dumping the 45GAP and switching to the 45ACP. Any truth to it?

You have very bad info.

We were offered gun for gun from Glock and S & W. It did not matter what caliber. We could haveahd any cialber including the .45. There was 18 members invloved in the testing. I was one of them. I would suggest asking one of the 18 for the details.

And NO, we are not giving of the GAP.. We have at least another 9-10 years with GAP.

Whoever selected the .45 GAP is a moron. Should have picked the .45 ACP or 9 mm for lower ammo cost and more availability. Also when the FHP sells the guns in 5-10 years nobody will want them because the .45 GAP will be totally obsolete by then.

Can you not read? Also, your opinion is not the only one and the holy grail of info. This was a long evaluation process.
