Is it true that detectives were following the Mayor and Commissioners doing surveillance, old SIS cloak and dagger stuff like they did to Howard Gary back in the 1980's? Its time to bring decency back to South Miami, this administration has created a hostile work environment inside the City.

You need to promote from within, Rene Landa would make a GREAT CHIEF.

The chief is leaking police reports to cetain council members that have been doctored and falsified. It is time for him to go and take the two majors with him. SMPD needs a chief to keep it out of politics and out of the gutter.

WOW, i just finished reading all of the information documented on the straw buyer blog. Outstanding job of journalism and fact finding. OM also known as FAT MAN should never have been CHIF at South Miami. This individual along with the demoted Chief, the fired manager and Camilo were planning to run the city like their farm. THE QUESTION STILL REMAINS WHY WERE THEY CONDUCTING SURVEILANCES OF THE POLITICIANS IN SOUTH MIAMI?

It's hardly excellent journalism but its leaps and bounds ahead of anything the local media has to offer. If not for that blog the chief would still be sitting pretty on his throne.

It's a highly slanted blog with bits and pieces of the truth.
