Re: PCSO Troubles
 New hires.....The quality and integrity of new hires are very disappointing. A poor investment is a poor investment no matter how many times you look it over. *There are too many fingers in the HR pie. But that's been the problem for a long time throughout the agency. *The Sheriff has done some great things, but at the same time he has contributed to creating a handicapped administration and working atmosphere....trust and empower the people you put in charge to do their job. * If they don't.... replace them with someone who will. The Sheriif needs to let people do their jobs and resort to micromanaging only as a temporary and last resort. *Lead by example. PCSO is a great organization... Unfortunately, all too frequently we just don't act or perform like one. There have been a lot of problems the Sheriff has done a great job at.... gaining contro of an out of control SES Unit, updating the fleet, health insurance... We need to give credit where credit is due and criticize in a professional matter by offering solutions instead of mindless ranting in social media venues.

Re: PCSO Troubles
This is for you Green Lantern. There is nothing good about this Chain Of Command nor will there be until someone realizes that promotions around here are based on nothing but a test score and not experience. As far as the new hires, I see nothing wrong with that process because you win some and lose some , its like that in every agency. Now as far as mindless banter about something done right around here, your full of it. 20 percent of the employees do 100 percent of the work around here. The rest are taking up space, time and money.
