Finally, the right decision was made. Now the city, in addiction to paying him almost 3 years of back pay, will being paying out HUGE for the wrongful termination. Anyone with half a brain knew how this was going to go. Good for Childers!

Another black eye for the police department and for the city.

Theres always gonna be a-holes like the person above me. This isnt a black eye for the police department. The city commission and manager inflated a small incident into a giant incident. Their plan almost worked, but now has backfired. Then you have the liberal cop haters like yourself, and all of the jackasses on the HT, who jump on the bandwagon when its time to try to bring down the cops. No matter what, the cops will always be the bad guys to you. The city had their day in court, not once, but twice. Each time, the city lost, and it is blatently obvious that the city manager and commissioners were dishonest, and were out to get Officer Childers, and the other good men and women of SPD. Now, the city commissioners and and Bartolotta have been exposed. Yet so many people want to continue to bash the Officers.

Also, I believe that the city commisioners owes an apology to the men and women of SPD publicly. The city had no issue with dragging our names through the mud, calling us corrupt, crooked, and setting up review boards, hiring so called "corruption experts". Susan Chapman owes us an apology, Captain Wayne owes us an apology. The boards have been proven to be a complete waste. We are not corrupt. We are very good at policing our own. In the last 15 years I cant even remember how many people the agency has fired, for many different things. And without any outside help.

Hooray, open season on spics again. Go get em Childers. This time be smarter and stay away from cameras.
