Maybe WS is on to something with his last minute budget increase request? After all, he lied at all of the forums about not being sued under his term. The truth about him being sued by his own employees for violating Federal Labor law is out there now and while that settlement wasn't enough to break the bank, maybe he knows what's coming around the corner when all of the lawsuits start reaching the courts? :?

He might need that 2% increase and a whole lot more when the courts start weighing in! :shock:

NOW you are on to something. Because the "rest" of the suits are in the works and have been. Feds run slow on these matters and take years to get around to the cases. The naysayers say that there is none. Well they were not dismissed four years ago, and are still going forward. Look for the announcement soon hopefully.

The bigger problem is the BOCC. As a group they have been incompetent for yrs. There are a couple of newer ones that should get a fair shake but the other 3 are responsible for having an incompetent and overpaid administration. The chairman is the primary enabler and the other 2 are just there to collect acheck and pad the retirements.
