[Cruel Truth]

I wish sincere good luck to all of the HCSO personnel involved in the upcoming confluence of the Republican National Convention and Hurricane Isaac.

It takes no crystal ball to foresee long hours under difficult conditions. Even if we avoid the brunt of Hurricane Isaac (which I predict - it will go up to the Mississippi/Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast) there will still be strong wind and damaging rain.

There are reports that much of the law enforcement support we would be getting from other counties may not be available due to the necessity to remain in their own jurisdictions because of the storm.

Using the well know expression of brotherhood in our profession, as you are out there representing our agency with the national spotlight on Tampa ........... STAY SAFE.
