So his job is just documenting the aftermath, huh? His job didn't include considering what the caller told 911 and being a little more assertive, taking a little more time, and maybe preventing what happened next? Nice....

You're smoking crack. Joe Miner is an excellent deputy who does his job and does it right. You've got nothing here. Go crawl back under your rock loser!

Typical blowhard comment. NEVER ever answering a direct question. Never ever looking at facts before you spew. I'd say you were a teabagger, but that would be off the subject. Subject is: is making an effort to prevent a crime part of a deputy's job or not? This story doesn't sound like much of one was made from the 911 call. It's an easy question really and one any real deputy on here would answer sincerely.

Two Pinellas County sheriff's deputies were given hefty suspensions after a video camera in a squad car showed they misrepresented their actions in separate reports on the same traffic stop, according to sheriff's memoranda released this morning.

Cpl. Frank Felicetta was suspended for 16 days; Deputy Joseph Miner was suspended for four, the memoranda say.

The only blowhard is YOU and the reporter that writes this crap for the TBT. There's nothing to this story. Joe did what he was supposed to do. He solved the complaint. If the azzclown decides to come back out and crank up the confrontation again, so be it. Joe and any other deputy would respond again and take the investigation to the next level. Since you've never worked the road, you wouldn't know that's they way deputies handle complaints. You keep slinging your crapola from the safety of you control room you road deputy wanna-be.

We're you there on the call? If not, how do you know how long they spent on the call and how the investigation was conducted? If he had taken the subject to jail right off the bat, people would be crying about how quick the Deputies are to take someone to jail.

No matter what LEO do, there is always someone that wants to ***** and complain about how it was done. Like in politics, if you can do better step up and do it. If not, then STFU
