It's interesting how shills for this union or that union tout their platforms with the full knowledge that ANY union is powerless in a Right to Work state like Florida. IUPA, Teamsters, PBA, FOP, etc. can only thump their collective chests and hope that enough people pay dues to maintain the union. The Legislature will decide what you get and when you get it. It's a lot like a cat playing with a mouse. The bottom line is the legislature has a real low appreciation of organized labor and don't look for that to change. Florida is vey proud of having the lowest cost for state government in the country. You can thank all the carpet bagging Yankees that know call Florida home. Low taxes, no new taxes and lack of support from the generally uninformed public mean you will get what the legislature wants you to have.
