    $79 million hole

    How on earth are they going to close a $79 million hole? They will eith er have to release prisoners early, close prisons. mass layoffs or furloughs! There is just so many paperclips and pencils you can cut. Canceling fieldwork only saves $400,000 which is peanuts! We are screwed unless they "find" more money!

    FLORIDA IS THE GARBAGE CAN OF THE UNITED STATES. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE CRIMINALS AND ALWAYS BE CRIME HERE. EITHER YOU PUT THEM IN PRISONS OR ON PROBATION. EITHER WAY THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS WILL ALWAYS HAVE A LARGE PORTION OF THE STATE'S BUDGET. THIS ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE PEOPLE.
