    Are Wheeler's Days Numbered?

    Are Wheeler's Days Are Numbered?

    BHM PROMOTIONS

Sheriff Al Lamberti, who is off and running for re-election, still hasn’t named any women or minorities to his senior command staff. Lamberti made diversity a major platform of his campaign in 2008 and the clock has been ticking for him to make good on that commitment. Lamberti reportedly has been making plans to promote Col. Wiley Thompson, who is black, to undersheriff during February, which is also Black History Month. Sources say current Undersheriff Tom Wheeler has not been informed of that possible move. Wheeler has been out campaigning and collecting ballot petition signatures for Lamberti’s re-election bid.

So, lets see....Lamberti is going to fire Wheeler, who is out campaigning and assisting him, and promote WT, who is not helping with the campaign, only to get the black vote, who notoriously votes democrat anyways and the promoting of WT will do nothing to change that. Sure.....whatever.

More smokescreens by Israel and Elgin Jones.....what a combination those two make.

Not! Its true, but Wheeler will not be fired. He is going to take administration, is the word. Have you noticed WT is with the sheriff everywhere he goes? Wheeler has very few assignments and duties, but WT is doing all of the undersheriff work. The sheriff had several high level meetings today, and WT was at his side and in all of them. Wheeler was nowhere to be found and everyone knows its coming. WT is performing as undersheriff already. Israel and Elgin only wish they could have devised this. The sheriff is keeping WT close and if Wheeler doesn't get the message now, he never will.

Wow! Wheeler telling folks he is retiring! Says he will work to get the sheriff re-elected and that has been getting petitions signed in that effort. Something's in the wind.
