Apparently the dep never learned from our TSPD brothers to the the north.

Members of the CCPA routinely video law enforcement interactions with the public, an activity which has been upheld as Constitutionally protected by the courts.

The GOs state that the agency will be in full compliance with the US Constitution among other things so this constitutes non-compliance. We will see what IA does because the courts have already spoken. Maybe some remedial training in constitutional law is in order as well as paying for any damages.

I find it funny that you guys don't do any work for the most part, but get involved in this Chicken**** stuff.

Listen to the entire video, the deputy had PC to stop and detain this subject based on his suspicious activity. Not to mention he was in close proximity of an ongoing investigation. The deputy clearly asked the subject what he was doing and could he help him with something. The subject appears to be not in total view of the deputy has a back pack on and is refusing to answer the deputy.

Given the time of night and the subjects actions now walking away refusing to stop, the deputy is well within the guide of the Law to stop and ascertain what he is doing. You say so what he has a back pack and so did the perp who killed Cpl. Mike Robets. Don't stick up for this subject who was drinking and desides he going to film a police officer during what turned out to be a felony stop.


And as for the comments by WN, give it up you got forced to resign because of your DUI and everything else you did to make the PCSO look bad. It's people like you who make LEO's look bad in the publics view.

OK.... heres the situation. 1) Why is it such a hard concept to understand. IF you conduct police business in the public, unlesss the person is obstructing your investigation...they can record you.....

2) Wade you are a FORMER deputy for a reason... OK Stay off the forum.

Embarassing to get "Punked". Despite being told over and over again by Supervision, we still act as if we have no brains. These fools do what they do, looking for the money shot which is exactly what was provided. Kinda like that "dont put something in laptop that is inappropriate" only to have a few people every year getting banged for it.

You guys are too quick to slam. The corporal is doing his job when someone draws his attention, the rest is determined by the other party. Again, good job corporal and yes we will pay for any damages.
