Hate to disappoint you Spin Doctors and inept detectives-- but Rothstein was not saying anything the feds did not already know. Simply go back and read the Federal indictment of Rothstein. Rothstein was being watched for months prior to the indictment. The Indictment clearly states he used Law Enforcement to aid and further his ponzi scheme. So the statements made in the deposition are not some new allegation he recently made up in a desperate effort to shave time. While I agree Rothstein is a dishonest, douche, his plead deal is strictly conditioned upon accurate truthful cooperation with authorities. He clearly knows and has likely told the feds where to find the coroberating documentation on the Police involvement, If they do not already have it. He is not going to go to the trouble to risk his own death by ratting out the mob and throwing his own blood relatives under the bus only to make up some false allegations against FLPD. That is just wishful thinking and spin on your part. That would jeopardize the deal he has on the table and the risks he has already taken.

My only question is were the escorts he provide male or female? And was it worth forfeiting your career and integrity to make a few quick bucks and a few free meals?
