    Cost if privartization fails?

    Nobody is asking this question: "How much in additional money will it cost the taxpayers if privatization fails to provide the advertised savings and the prisons have to revert back under state control? No study has been done on this to my knowledge.

    Hernando Co. jail was privatized, it had all sorts of problems and lawsuits, and the company left the facilities in disrepair. It cost Hernando millions of dollars in maintenance and hiring of staff to bring the jail back under county control.

    Win, Win, situation for all. Privitize and the politicians make millions in PAYOFFS. It doesnt work and the local economy is STIMULATED with the quest to return to the status quo. This is america at the best!!!
