MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE PICKED A MORE FULFILLING CAREER!!!
The public could care less what hours road guards work. Just answer the stupid calls and get there fast and don't rear-end any more civilian cars while you are at it or screw on duty. If 12s save the citizens money therefore road guards should be on 12s as well. Guess what road guard, we have pay parody with you therefore Car 1 owes us some back pay for all the years we got 5% instead of 10%. There should be a class-action lawsuit shortly.
You got one thing right. The pay PARITY is in fact a PARODY!!

    [jeyl-gahrd]

    noun
    1. An uneducated person who is tasked with maintaining order and security for a facility that retains criminals awaiting trial, bond and persons convicted of misdemeanors. They are generally unhappy with their chosen career due to the fact that they themselves are confined amongst said convicts and inmates for twelve hours at a time. Furthermore they are tasked with making no decisions. All important decisions are made by supervisors to avoid overworking the two functioning synapsis in the standard jail guard brain. Subject is also under the impression that they are "deputies", even if only by inappropriate title.

Your ignorance shows that you know nothing about the jail. The only pre-requisites for being a road guard are a high school diploma and the academy. Very low entry standards so don't pat yourself on the back too hard. Road guards have reports written for them so as to not overwork their brains. They drive around in glorified taxi cabs and respond to mundane domestic calls of former inmates. Great career move - NOT!

WoW,,did this just turn into a Jail / Road battle = WEAK!

I'll have to say that if that post by Game On was in fact a fabrication on their own and not taken from someone else....kudos!! That was ****ing funny!! Guest, you should have come up with something witty. I have nothing against Jail or Road. All brothers and sisters in the end. If you feel different....you should go someplace else!

Relax. Maybe someday if you pray hard enough, you'll get out of the jail and get picked up for the road. Then finally, after the years of shame you have endured being a turn key, you can be a real cop like you always imagined. No longer will you have to sit in your bedroom with your radio turned up, listening to a deputy calling out a pursuit, while you cry into your pillow. By the way, when you jail guys do your version of going X18, do you just walk really fast? I know you don't run, because I've seen you guys do the PAT.

Really? Seems we have seen some very positive things in the last 2 weeks. Just how is he the enemy, unless of course this is Everett posting and just tryng to stir the pot? OMG, that would never happen. If you look at all the things that have been put out in the last 2 weeks, things are looking up in my view.

WOW, you really are stupid. Just for a second pretend you have a brain, you don't think all these "Good things" are a way to earn votes in the upcoming election? You can't possibly be that blind, I bet there's gonna be a raise in the mix after the new year too. Or is this bobby boy trying to enhance his image? Which is not possible, he's an a$$hole and the worst option for this agency. Guzzle that Kool-aid skippy, maybe he'll give you an undeserved promotion like he got and so readally hands out. Go Back to sleep dude, you'll be safer.

Big deal, the jail night shifts got the 10% night shift differential back (which rightfully belonged to them) but not the money lost over the years or compensated for the lower FRS pension. Deputies lost around $2.5k-4k in annual income since the shift differential was reduced to 5%. A Trinity run staff dinning is back. If you want to eat poor quality food prepared by inmates, have at it. Franky, it is an insult to the deputies' intelligence. Given the size of the jail complex, a staff cafeteria like the courthouse has is the solution to jail staff meals. Then there are the 12 hours shifts which are causing many deputies to seek employment elsewhere or retire. Until the jail returns to 8 hour shifts, people will continue to be unhappy, tired and will eventually quit. Maybe that is the goal of the administration, who knows?

Galtierri is the biggest scumbag this agency has ever seen. I agree with the above posted that he is doing it just for the votes, because he knows what kind of damage he has done in the past. DO NOT vote for this trash. We can't afford to elect this idiot. Now is the time to dump him once and for all.

Can the Jail Deputies please stop complaining about the free food from Trinity or whoever? Pack your lunch or order out. Thanks - The Road.
