"Someday" Came.

Looks like a Patrol minded Chief is starting to take a hold of the wheel of this skipperless ship. Its going to be a long road ahead but it appears like we are at least moving in the right direction.

So is Carlos gone?

Love hearing all the closet cops crying about helping Patrol. Auto Theft makes a couple of arrests a year. CST makes more arrests than the current SIU.

Its real simple. Patrol is in need of bodies. Crime has not gone up this much in 30 years. All those specialized units are nice when you have the bodies. But we don't and now we have an Interim Chief making a decision to take back our streets and make Patrol a priority. Not the mat of the Department.

Why is it that we find it neccessary to bad mouth other cops on this forum? Can we show support for the interim Chief or disaproval without cutting each others throat? Everyone has his or her opinion as to departamental issues. And they are all valid. But come on. Lets do what is asked to do and support the Chief and each other. We gotta start somewhere. We are better than this.
