LA MIRADA, Calif. -- Los Angeles County sheriff's officials say two off-duty deputies have been arrested following a shooting at a La Mirada park.

The Sheriff's Department says three off-duty deputies initially were detained early Friday after gunfire was reported near La Mirada Regional Park.

Deputy Guillermina Saldana says no one was hit by gunfire, but one of the deputies was treated for injuries at a hospital and released. That deputy was not arrested.

Saldana says 36-year-old Judith Gonzalez was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and 35-year-old Adrienne Myers was arrested on suspicion of felony battery. Each is being held on $50,000 bail.

Saldana says all three deputies were assigned to patrol stations.

Investigators believe the three deputies were the only people present or involved in the incident.
