3% raise to offset pension contributions
spolier alert: this should be coming out next week as a memo but it looks like good news is finally in. it appears that FDLE has come up with a way to use internal funds to offset our new 3% contribution requirement. It will be in the form of a cafeteria style plan that will be like a one time bonus.

Re: 3% raise to offset pension contributions
I love fantasy. Here is a dose of reality for you. Scott will not allow it. It will send a shock wave through state employment. It is not an issue of if the funds are available. It is an issue of maintaining some control over agency heads. All are in lock step with Scott. Resistance is futile. While he can't control the dozens of cities and counties that have already kicked back 3% to their employees, he can and will control the state.

Yep......not a chance any state agency could get away with this.

SHERIFF DAVID SHOAR BACKS RICK SCOTT FOR GOVERNOR AND THEN TURNS AROUND AND MAKES SURE HIS LEGISLATION ONLY EFFECTS "OTHER" LEOS, NOT HIS. WHAT A HIPPO.
