Im retired from NYPD and have a question for my Hialeah brothers
My in laws watch a show called "Caso Cerrado" and there is a "Detective FRank Penate" whom appears on the show in full uniform from Hialeah PD

Is this guy legit ?

Just that up north, they would never allow that, appearing for paid," in the bag " or in uniform

provides for very good PR with the community. Older citizens really get a kick out of it when they see the tv cops out in the field.

How can I get to go on a ride along next time I visit?

Go to City of Hialeah Web Site, contact Office of the Chief and ask for the Public Information Office (PIO). They will provide the form for the ride along.

Are arrests real on Caso Cerrado? Sometimes, the "judge" orders a litigate to be arrested and the police officers come and appear to be taking them to jail?

Dont make me laugh we dont have enough ofcs to arrest the real criminals what makes you think we are gonna arrest people on a fake show

This show is air for more than 15 years. They are real cases and Dr And Maria is an arbitrary. The policeman is real like the lawyers and doctors. He belong to the Hialeah PD. His record is public and you can ask for him. When the started the show he was a Sargent now he is a lieutenant.
