Contract Passes

The contract passed by a majority vote of 24-3.

It is amazing the second King is no longer involved we finally got something decent. The immediate $2000 raise is awesome and sure will knock out the blow that governor scott is hitting us with. Hopefully next year they will leave us alone and the 2% raise will actually be a raise. Then in 2013 maybe it will finally be time for the state to give us a raise on top of the 1% the University is giving us.

Also hopefully they will give everyone the 1% OEA like they did this time. It will be a nice $500 bonus for each of the next three Christmas seasons.

So basically we are getting a 8% raise over the next three years with a little bonus money.

Hopefully we will get an agreement signed with FHP to make a little extra money on the Highways since they are short staffed and cant handle all the extra work. :lol: :lol: :lol:
