Why don't you put as much effort into your job! Maybe the Sups would not come after you then!

Re: bad offices to work in

17-1 in Pompano Beach. It has a consistent history of line supervisors and officers in the senior sups unit quiting, transferring, or being moved to another unit within the same office after complaining to circuit for the past couple of years. The carpet is dirty and disgusting, holes in the wall that the ofc sup did not report to the property manager after an offender bashed into it (covered it with a painting). There is still mold on the floor boards appearing after the last hurricane. Also the floor boards have been falling off and scotch tape has been used to tape them back to the wall. The office refrigerators were embarrassing and disgusting! Becuase people in the office would leave their food in there and not take it home. Now both refridgertors are broken and no one wants to contribute to buy a new one. So come work at 17-1 and make sure you brown bag your lunch that does not require refridgeration! But based upon the current office conditions, you would prefer to eat out!

sometimes its not the office its the supervisor. like the ones who get moved from office to ofice to office because they apparentely are doing something not quite right but for some reason cannot be fired or demoted. explain that? how aobut the sups that pay favorites? draw racial lines? lie to the face of one officer to protect theyre favorites?, creates theyre own policy? constantly hounds those who stand up for what is right while allowing those who areKNOWN TO BE LYING ON CONTACTS TRAVEL ETC to continue? so see, there are many many times when the officers are doing theyre jobs, doing the best they can and the supervisor gets moved in and destroys any sense of fellowship.our office is this. oh and dont mention going to circuit or region they already know because theyre the ones who keep moving the sup from office to office to office without any disciplinary action whatsoever. so yes, i will go to work today and do MY job and watch the favorites NOT do theirs. what a hell of a way to be.

If DC is about to become extinct it will be more about dying from within than being destroyed from the outside. I do not believe for one moment that the service we provide are best done by the private sector BUT there is no question...Our management/sups/leadership failed us and the citizens by 'NOT BEING THE BEST WE COULD BE'. OMG, maybe we are the best DC has to offer. This is scary!!!
