Absolutely unbelievable! Israel campaigned against Lamberti based on Lamberti’s alleged ties to Ponzi Schemer Scott Rothstein. Then one of the first things Israel does after being elected is to offer a number of Ft. Lauderdale Officers that had their grubby hands in the ponzi scheme cash pot, jobs in his own administration. There is strong, well reasoned, integrity for you. Israel complained of Benjamin and Wheeler’s dealings with Rothstein, then turns around and offers FLPD Chief Adderley a job. Really!!! Adderley was up to his elbow in the dealings with Rothstein and possibly even his paid escorts. Adderley worked to approve the various security details; Adderley showed up at car accident scene at Rothstein’s Request; Adderley was observed posing for pictures with Rothstein—repeatedly; Adderley accepting gratuities, including, flying on trips in a private jets [With Benjamin and Rothstein]. Adderley was observed almost nightly hanging out in Rothstein’s restaurant and company etc. Adderley’s boy Sgt. Steven Greenlaw was Rothstein’s personal driver, body guard and received 401K and diamonds from Rothstein; Adderley had 49 FLPD officers working the Rothstein ponzi scheme cash funded security details, half of which were never even authorized to work the detail, etc., etc. Israel’s choices in other FLPD officers are equally troubling. Some of those have their own sorted pasts, Kinsey was involved in covering up a police involved shooting; and recently had his car, badge and guns stolen under suspicious circumstances ; Dale worked the Rothstein Ponzi Scheme funded details himself, etc. I guess it is all pay backs for the covering up of Israel’s IA files. I predicted BSO eventually makes a bid to take over troubled Ft. Lauderdale. The good news is all the corruption will soon be in one place as opposed to two.

Dear FLPD, Apparently someone in your dept posted something on our dept's forum and it is was not received politely (below). I wanted to apologize on their behalf and offer an olive branch.
