Re: what happened to NRO BS?
This matter should not be discussed on this public site, for it is a open case. If you have any questions, you should call him, or the FOP pres. They will answer your questions. Do not get caught up in the false rumors.

Re: what happened to NRO BS?
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A retired police officer has been accused of having sex with a minor over a decade ago.
Court documents revealed that a 30-year-old woman came forward and told police she had sex with Bruce Songdahl, a 26-year veteran Miami Beach police officer, when she was 16 years old. The woman's brother originally reported the crime.
According to a search warrant, "The victim stated she and the subject engaged in sexual intercourse over 30 times in various places, including his residence, his boat and his marked police vehicle. The victim also stated the subject recorded several of their sexual encounters using a VHS recorder and a tripod device."
On the day the 51-year-old retired from the force, Miami-Dade Police Sexual Crimes detectives were searching his home in Cutler Bay for the video tape of Songdahl and the alleged victim having sex.
The search warrant said, the alleged victim called Songdahl while detectives listened to their conversation. "The subject admits to a sexual relationship with the victim and confirms there was a video recorded of their sexual act. The subject confirms he has the video and he watches it occasionally," the warrant said.
Detectives are attempting to build a case against Songdahl for possession of child pornography. Songdahl has not been arrested, but the investigation continues.

Re: what happened to NRO BS?
How can you blame the chief? This incident happened several administrations ago and if it was brought to light at that time nothing was done. The chief appears to have handled this appropriately by addressing a complaint when the department was advised. As for the other incidents the chief acted when the problems were realized. If there is any fault it would be with past administrations.

What an embarrassment for the MBPD AGAIN! This can not reflect well on the chief. We have lost a lot of credibility in the community. Sad day once again.
