    Re: Impasse Hearing

Today, we felt the smooth slithering of snakes in the grass, we are sorry but no motion for the 30% paycut that C.A. Hernandez asked from everyone including council. Their eyes bulged at the thought that they would be immune as well as the Commanders. I wonder how they will feel when they get no lube for the little cut they are going to "maybe receive on October 1 but no year was given." This meeting tonight was a joke that to some extent they kept some kind of composure. You had the Mayor and the Council President up there smiling with everyone's future in their hands. If at least you have to F U C K ME Act like your not enjoying it PRICKS. We will have the last say, when he get 39'd and then all of the Councilmembers will have to explain to the citizens how they sat there and allowed him to break the City. The employees work more for less and none of the citizens have asked how they pay the same and get less, pools closed, sub-station closed, libraries closed, etc.
    Lol they also got shafted.

The Mayor is obviously preparing for his run at the county Mayor seat in the near future. He will tell everyone that in Hialeah "I didnt raise taxes", but at what cost. Lets make sure the world knows the cost!! We need to make certain that Hialeah gets plenty of its crimes exposed on the news, daily!!! There have been numerous times when the administration has refused to publicize certain crimes for not wanting to create a poor public image during the mayors tenure. We need to start putting the media to work for us for a change. If you write a report or investigate a crime which involves gangs, roberry, stabbings, rape, shootings, cat burglars, etc... Give the media a call or drop them an email. You dont have to give your name or info it can be done anonymously (make sure to include a case number) Any one can create a Gmail account and begin sending emails to the herald. Lets see how many days in a row we can keep Hialeah in the news. The Mayor wont know what to do with himself, the negative media coverage we be toxic for his political ambitions.

    Lets start our own campaign!

Radio Mambi is absolutely correct. We need to start keeping HIALEAH in the news spotlight. It isnt uncommon to see crime stories about Little Haiti and Overtown daily...let's throw The City of Anti-Progress on their as well. Create an email account (Gmail, hotmail, etc) and then send the Herald, as well as the local media any/all stories report information that you can. As long as it is public record stuff (ie, NOT juvenile related) then you will be fine. Worst comes to worst say that a loved one sent it! Only then will the public realize how bad things are getting.

The time to fight back is NOW!!

    Re: Impasse Hearing

    Folks,

I must agree that the media needs to be fully aware of what goes on in the City of Hialeah. We must let everyone know that this is not the City of Progress, but a city in reverse. Julio Robaina will balance his budget from all of his employees back. Citizens need to know the real truth. Don't just sit there and expect Robaina and his puppets to do the right thing. It will not happen! Robaina is setting his ground for the county Mayor's seat. Robaina is selfish! Talk to your relatives, friends and neighbors and let them know the real truth. Miami-Dade county does not need a mayor like Julio Robaina...

For years, employees in the City of Hialeah have basically been the worst paid in Miami-Dade County. Yet, Robaina and all of these career politicians have always shinned with the residents of Hialeah from our devoted hard efforts. Robaina and his puppets are only looking out for themselves. Always, remember that!

Employees need to get together and give Robaina and his puppets the medication they all need and deserve. Robaina can't expect to get a dollars worth on seventy cents. That is seventy cents, if Hialeah employees were the best paid, but that is not the case. Robaina has done much more damage than Raul L. Martinez in a shorter time frame. The well being of you and your families has a fair price. Please, unite and stay safe!

    Re: Impasse Hearing

    Ladies and gentlemen,

Robaina and his cronies have distributed the wealth just like OBAMA preached at the expense of you and your families. That is, the misconception of the wealth we have never had. Robaina and his cronies have always lied to the citizens of Hialeah by telling them that we all make so much money and are overpaid. The real truth is that you are all underpaid, but yet the quality of services the City of Hialeah Police Department and rest of employees puts out is incredible when compared to other police departments throughout the county and state.

Robaina can't blame his police department and the rest of the fine men and women employed with the City of Hialeah for his own personal mistakes and decisions. It is not our fault that Robaina and his cronies decided not to raise the millage rate so we could then step up and give up a fair share during these difficult times. We all know that we were willing to give up a fair share. There is no doubt about that! A fair share to the residents would not have generated a tax increase. Our residents would have still paid fewer taxes this upcoming year when compared to the last three tax years. Taxes have drasticaly gone down the last three years!

City of Hialeah employees have not received a raise, but you have raised your salary, Robaina. Robaina, you have also employed your friends and cronies throughout the city, including councilwomen with lucrative salaries. Robaina, City of Hialeah employees are not blind. Robaina, that is why contracts were not approved and/or ratified. Robaina, learn to lead by example. Robaina, learn to lead with fairness. Robaina, you are only thinking about yourself. Robaina, you are not thinking about your employees well being. Robaina, your employees have been the ones that have made you shine during your tenure as Mayor. Robaina, you are a selfish and irresponsible politician! Robaina, you know that this is all true!

Ladies and gentlemen, think about yourself and your families. It is obvious that Robaina's administration does not care about you or your families. Be smart! Please, don't take unnecessary risks that may cause you an injury or your life. Your families need you! It is not worth it! Young troops need to open their eyes wide open. The City of Hialeah does not appreciate your hard efforts and risk you all take everyday. Once things get a little better, consider career opportunities elsewhere. I assure you that the experience you have all acquired in Hialeah will make you a great asset at another police department. You can take that to the bank! Think, stand your ground, stay safe and fight for what are your and your families’ rights. UNITE!
