Re: LSCO Deputy arrested after DUI crash

Very well said. Excellent point(s). How sad there is no recourse for this Deputy who so far has been found to be innocent of any criminal charges. The State Attorney has spoken. How sad that the civil service review board is a JOKE. Why would one even bother with that waste of time. M.S has the board in his back pocket. Such a sham has been tolerated for too long. M.S. has chosen a staff that will do whatever he says because INTEGRITY is a thing of the past.

M.S does not believe in due process. Look at his track record. He seems to be above reproach... even when his own integrity is called into question and he outright lies to keep his reputation intact. IA's are a joke! IA staff will do whatever he says under fear of reprisal.

M.S. has ignored Deputies cries for a raise for the past how many years? He has turned from cop to politician... he has sold his soul and those of his deputies to the republican party for PERSONAL GAIN at any expense.

Of course staff members and high ranking admin types will not agree with this. They are all to busy pandering to keep their cushy jobs and salaries and would never go against the top administrator. The thing lacking here besides experience is integrity at the top levels.

    Update

all charges against the accused were dropped. To the knucklehead that believes a refusal is a mandatory revocation, go back to the academy. The accused didn't lose his license either. There's a thing called a BDI hearing knucklehead. MS treated his employees like shit. He was a subpar motor cop turned Sheriff.

When will the local coppers in this town wake up and start taking note of these snot nosed punk "investigative" reporters out and about. What? They don't tie one on from time to time? They don't speed their butts off rushing to any one of our scenes? They don't get wrapped up in bad mortgage deals . . . oh wait, sorry Jessica Stillwell. For heavens sake Megan Smith is living with a Cape cop. There has to big a big juicy story in that some where! Glass houses people. FU Fox. FU NBC2. FU WINK. FU ABC7.
You must be mentally ill, to say Todd is a victim of the media when he had the choice to call a cab, uber aka make a plan before he started drinking to find a designated driver. Or isn't that the theme of what we tell the public?

So now a sworn officer who knows better, who shows up on the scenes of deaths from DUI's and knows the horror that drinking and driving can create is a victim of the media because they are speaking about his foolish choice to drive drunk. Plus, he hit and injured someone so he's got a problem because his poor decision now includes her injuries and damage to her vehicle.

FU and you thinking Todd is above the law and shouldn't have his error exposed, turn in your badge and gun jackass.

    The SAO has spoken?
Haha because she has so much integrity.
    Thanks for the laugh.
