Why can't we? BSO, Commissioner Taub said we needed 100% for her to endorse us. No matter how bad we get bucked that 20% of stubborn, scared or comfortable employees will not budge.

Even if we skate by this contract, the next two contracts are going to be the worst we have ever seen. Fire is gone, less people contributing to the pension and less people in our insurance network. Where do you think the money is going to come from to cover it?
Qluenones can’t help us. She’s a spineless leader with low support and low confidence citywide.

Guys and gals, it’s got nothing to do with Q. She is what she is. Every agency has lame duck administrators. It’s the city that has made the decision to flip us off.

Interesting, they found about a million to give away FD to BSO but they can’t find some money for the ones staying to do their dirty work. This is a bs move by city.

If you show up to the meetings you could hear it directly from the CM. As of now, the city gave us their revised proposal and we are going to meet with the Union, which most of us will not attend. At the meeting we can discuss the proposal and ask them questions or if we have concerns we can raise them there. After our meeting with the PBA we will meet again with the City, which you will most likely not attend and we will respond to their proposal.
