If you believe our city manager, it'll never happen. The city is already upset with FD costing them way more money than they thought, and they don't have control of FD anymore. I think the city commission board loves having our chief along with the entire admin in their pockets. People who don't know how to lead think that leading is having control. And these a$$clowns love having all the control. Just face it, those who are able and smart enough to leave are doing it. Those of us who are stuck here have to just hope this city doesn't go under from mismanagement before we're able to retire. There's no silver lining, there's no saving grace, there's no hail mary long shot. The sooner you accept that, the easier it will be to stomach this place.
