Davie Town Administrator Gary Shimun will host four Town Hall-style meetings with residents and business owners over the next few months.

The first meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 13 at Robbins Lodge, 4005 Hiatus Road.

The meetings will be held monthly at different venues to ensure all of the town's four districts are covered.

Topics include budget and finance; communications; economic development; and services such as police, fire, code compliance, permitting, parks, public works and housing.

Are citizens going to be allowed to ask him questions?

Are we as employees allowed to ask on issues pertaining to our jobs, since Shimun is technically part of our chain of command?

if you are a resident and an obvious taxpayer than i would think yes you can ask....however just say your name is gene or kevin to shield your identity in case shiman doesnt get the ax
