Whats wrong with holding an inmates penis while he urinates? Whats wrong with illegally CHASING and detaining your ex boyfriends new girlfriend without probable cause?

Look at the two officers involved, they never should have been hired in the first place.

Reading that IA report gave me a headache. I thought you needed a GED to work for CCPD. It reads like a third grade book report, the tense changes alone are enough to make my head spin!

At least they interviewed reliable witnesses, like the convicted felon "Mr Petrovich"

Yeah, smash him cause his ex-girlfriend and two other officers took her personal matters into their own hands. The fact that you can justify any actions of those three officers makes me believe that you must be a dirty cop yourself. What would his statement even provide anyway when the admissions came from the officers themselves. Those three just cost our city tons of money in paying out this lawsuit. Not to even mentioned that one of the four people detained was a relative of Ann Marie Randazzo. The five year anniversery is coming up for that horrible crime and your worried about a witness that had nothing to do with the actions of those three. Did you even read the report? It clearly says that the two officers knew they were going to be in an IA, and that their Ex-Sergeant admitted that she was wrong. I am sure the FBI will love to look at this and we will see how a 25 minute unlawful Civil Rights Violation can be for those officers. And how about when Officer Lytle makes an arrest for now on? I am sure defense attorneys will love to take those cases to court. When she has to explain that during her work history, she was demoted and explain why to a jury what exactly happened for that demotion? Remember that it is Beyond a Reasonable Doubt and I would say the least reliable witness for now on will be Mrs. Lytle.

So you're okay that justice was swift and hard for the Sergeant but they let Jimmy and Steve, two scumbags or "dirty cops" (as you refer to her subordinates as) work for almost two years knowing of a federal indictment and millions of dollars defrauded just by these two alone, not counting the rest of the SWAT team members who haven't been charged yet because they're not the biggest fish or because of their testimony being used in lieu of prosecution.

She did wrong, admitted and took it like a man unlike the two others who milked the system, collected benefits and a salary all because who they were related to or friends with. If she was still with Stevie and did this, I'm sure it would've been handled like their discipline was handled, slow and almost to a dead stop.

It's a friggin joke, the whole thing is a sham.

    Re: Seriously?

"it's a friggin joke, the whole thing is a sham."

The above statement, I completely agree with. I don't know all the truths or the facts about Steve or Jimmy, I only know what rumors have been said and what has been written in the News-Press, but I do know that neither work here and both have bigger issues to deal with their lives. And I don't care to defend them, whoever was involved with them and got away with it, shame on them. Regardless of them, the incident that G. Lytle was involved with had nothing to do with them other then her petty jeolousy of who Steve was dating. What she did, again according to documents released by our "Fine" command staff, was intentionally violated four peoples civil rights because she can't figure out who is blogging about her. I worry that one of my cases, she will end up making the traffic stop or finding the suspect and when a defense attorney hears she was involved, blow my whole case up. I know my opinion and a dollar will only get me a cup of coffee, but I do know that several other detectives feel the same way. Look at what happened with Jack Betts, or even AK for a bit when a judge and attorneys know they can attack your personel file. AGAIN JUST THING ABOUT THAT,
DEFENSE ATTORNEY: "WHAT HAVE YOUR DUTIES WITH THE CAPE CORAL POLICE DEPARTMENT BEEN?"
G.L.: "I USED TO BE A ROAD SGT. AND NOW I AN OFFICER."
DEFENSE ATTORNEY: "ISN'T GOING FROM SGT. TO OFFICER A SIGN OF DEMOTION, WHAT HAPPENED?"
G.L. "I VIOLATED PEOPLES CIVIL RIGHTS BECAUSE I WAS UPSET AND ACTED "IMPULISIVELY"!"

And wether the public knows or not, her decisions alone have resulted in some serious discipline before. She is a cancer and will cost someone their life, I don't believe she acted implusively as stated, where are those texts messages and what do they say to show she knew who the bartender was? Funny how they got left out! And what was she suppose to do, not take it like a "man" as you said. Her own two officers turned her in, MCT messages, Text messages, hidden traffic stop on CAD notes, she was caught before she had a chance to lie or get her way out of it.

I agree it is all a joke, but even if it took two years to get rid of some the trash, why do have to wait to two more. I will also say this, Jimmy and Steve made bad personal decisions, but I never heard once of bad decisions Jimmy ever made with SWAT, or ask the guys that worked for him, they never complained about his decisions then. I just don't want to end up in a law suit like those three will be, or worst end up at a funeral of one of our own because of her. If she had any honor, she should just remove herself completely from this job and go back to selling vacation packages.
