This event is not a screening! It will be a forum which allows each candidate to introduce him/herself, followed by a question and answer session. Refreshments provided.

maybe a silly question, but I don't know the answer. I'll be leaving court when this is starting. Is there anything saying that I cannot attend while in uniform. I live in st. pete and I'd like to hear from the candidates. But if I head home after court to change, I'll probably miss most of this. I just want to listen. I have no intentions of asking any questions.

I wouldn't do it in uniform. Too many potential problems. If you end up on the TV news someone will *****. If you make a comment while there someone will think your being political on duty. Bring a change of clothes in a duffel bag and hit the locker room at the courthouse....
