SMITH AND WESSON

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR SMITH AND WESSON WEAPONS. WE ARE LOOKING AT THE WEAPON AND WOULD LIKE SOME FEEDBACK THANKS.

I dont work for APD but my agency went with the M&P 45. The first 200 pistols would jam every 20 rounds or so and had to be returned to the factory. ALL of our mags and the slides were prone to extreme rust problems. Even sitting with normal use they had to be cleaned every few days due to visible rust. The mags especially would rust out of control even just sitting in a box. We ended up returning every pistol slide for refinishing and they replaced every mag for a new one with a different finish.
I went to a tactical unit where we could choose our own pistol and I went with a Glock, i'm much happier.
