    How many openings?

I understand there are some openings with your agency. How many are there and have they been filled?

    Re: How many openings?

The last thing I saw showed 10 open positions. At least half of which have backgrounds in some stage of completion. There is no way of nothing how many (if any) will actually be filled.

I wonder if we will ever see the slots filled?

As one door closes, another door opens. For every one that is filled, another will be vacated. ABT is a state-wide revolving door.

Here is a fun little task.

Add up the number of agents, from the most senior to the newest.
Now add up the number of sworn non-agents (chief, major, captain, lieut)
What is the ratio of supervisors to agents?
How long can an agency exsist like this?

My answer - until July 1st.

    WHO SHOULD BE CUT?
2 worthless Majors that do nothing, and have no clue,
2 Tallahassee Captains that have not done a single productive thing and cause continual disruption,
anyone who is sworn who is not doing sworn work.

Sadly, when the cuts come, and they are coming fast, AAII's Inspectors and new agents will be assassinated. The last ones to be cut will be worthless Majors of the Silver Alert Chief.
It's #$%^^!@ nuts that the Republican legislature is so out of touch that they continue to deny any taxation in Florida, and they say that there should be no state government workers. Real soon there will be no teachers, no cops, no revenue collectors. They just cut an honors program at my kid's school. Take away 5%, and I'm registering Democrat for the 1st time in my life.

I have been a republican voter and monetary supporter for all my voting years (37)
I am done with the republican party and changed to NPA (no party affiliation)
The republican party no longer represents my needs
