I noticed that your agency is looking for a captain. Is there a reason why the position is being advertised outside the department? Sometimes it is healthy to bring in a new set of eyes and ideas especially in a non chief role that doesn't have to spend time working with the city government and can concentrate on improving the agency. I am applying for the position and was just curious. Thanks.
