The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a
courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt
Not Commit Adultery," and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of
lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

Moderators are unpaid volunteers and Mod 1 is in charge of them along with the Message Boards. That said, it really depends on the particular message board as far as work load. In this case, there is already an existing moderator on the Miramar PD Message Board so you would have help. Also, whenever anyone reports a post as violating our Terms of Use, you get an email with a link to the post, so it's rather easy to moderate and quick too. In all likelihood, you would not have to spend much time moderating at all. By moderating correctly, the users know what is permissible and what is not, so that eliminates half of your work load right there. Please contact Mod 1 via email at mod1@leoaffairs.com if you (or anyone else) become interested. Thanks!
