LOL well lets see good ol AL's record so far shall we.....

1.) Promised the Deputies the First Responder pay. = Then has a message boy deliver the we can't pay you letter to your PBA President. HAHA

2.) Called in his Deputies about 20(some of who were on duty at the time!) to hold elect Lamberti signs at the PSB when another Union and its members were protesting unfair treatment. (With Deputies like that you'd wonder where their Pride in Service with Integrity was while they crossed Union lines.) Boy O boy is that a thin blue line.

3.) Had a BSO photographer take pictures of those 500+ protesters in the hopes of using those photo's for singling out individuals. And he would have to if he hadn't been busted and forced to write a letter that stayed posted for 60 days on Union Boards promising never to do it again.

4.) Promised never to allow layoffs if he was elected Sheriff, but when the Commisioners told him to cut the budget without layoffs what does he do? 261 layoffs on the way! Why did he do that? Because he cares as much about the Deputies as he did those protestors rights!

5.) Promised to clean up the Sheriff's Office of all the former Sheriff's cohorts. Hows that working out? They still have jobs and Deputies are about ready to lose theirs....Poetic justice....couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of guys! Not to mention that he had a former Deputy on his campaign team who was convicted and stripped because he was selling drugs to kids out of his patrol car....who right after the election got busted again for lewd acts towards a minor. HOME RUN!

BTW just a side note he was the President of a youth baseball program that tens of thousands of dollars was stolen from and his answer was (We knew money was disappearing we just didn't know who or how.) Great just another sham he seems to get away with because the papers are in Rothsteins pocket and Lamberti is in Rothsteins. O yeah more poetic justice, do you know that 1 week after Ken came home from prision Rothstein hired him? No didn't know that? Well now you do.....

He looked at all of you as the reason he was a Major for so long. Heres a response loser. The election is over, you lost, get a life. The commision is playing politics and we lose. If the commision would put politics aside, no layoffs would be happening. Is Al perfect, no way, but he is still better than the crook and liar.

Well took quite a few days to formulate that 5th grade response. Summer school is always an option you know? Anyone adult enough to respond to whats really going on and how much they feel betrayed like the rest of the real Deputies out there?

About the Commision and the cuts so far. Who proposed laying off 40 DLE Road patrol Deputies? Who proposed laying off 177 Corrections Deputies and closing down a correctional facility? Why didn't he start with his top heavy administration? Why didn't he continue with his double and sometimes triple funded divisions that house most of them as well?

The Commision asked for the cuts and that is true. They didn't tell him where to make the cuts. That ladies and gentleman was all his own idea. The politics being played are his. If he cut his foot soldiers so the Commision would be the public bad guys. He made those choices and for those reasons.

I was getting on the Metro-Rail at the Overtown station in Miami yesterday and had the opportunity to speak with Scott Israel. I am happy to see that he landed on his feet and secured a position with Wackenhut as a Custom Protection Officer. That three decades of law enforcement experience can now be utilized at securing Miami's not so rapid transit system.

Is this really true? I just find it so hard to believe
