    additional pay

Does the BCSO have a annual step pay plan? Does the BCSO give additional pay for years of experience? If so what is the maximum percentage given.
    Thnaks for the replies.

Yes there is a step plan. As a Road Patrol deputy you start at approx $35,500.00. You top out after 23 years at approx $57,500.00. Your annual step pay raise is just under $1,000.00 a year. At this time there is no incentive for years of experience. Everyone starts off at step 1. Hope this helps.

Wow, did the PBA help you get that pay plan? A fifty-cent per hour raise per year that doesn't even keep up with the rate of inflation? No COLA? That thousand bucks per year after taxes ought to be enough to pay your PBA dues so they can use that money to buy Nate Ingram and Vince Champion cars, to buy lunches for Vince and Johnny and Nate, to pay for their fancy new office in Daytona Beach...and what exactly are you getting out of the deal? Dump the PBA and keep your money! You could have gotten a fifty-cent per hour raise without their "help"!
