City of Miami Police said officers responded to a call of a possible armed robbery in progress in the area of Northeast Fifth Avenue and 62nd Street at around 12:30 p.m., Monday.

If so, that would be a legitimate police pursuit.

The pursuing officer responded to what was dispatched as a robbery; so far, no one has said it was not. The chasing officer conducted the pursuit with exceptional skills, he was not injured, neither was the subject or bystanders, and the City vehicle was not damaged. The stolen loot was recovered and one more violent criminal was taken off Miami's streets. Overall a very good job that ought to be commended by fellow officers; not sniped at from the peanut gallery by one who was not involved.
