That is because if you lie in the name of Jesus, it isn't lying. I am not sure where that is in the bible, but it's there apparently. The Chief and the next Chief have mastered "lying because god told me too" defense.

Well I no longer work there so I can speak. Your next Chief is very untrustworthy. I know from direct interaction. You might guess who I am. I left instead of staying because of the current administration. I was blindsided and undermined at every turn.
