FMPD CHAPLAIN-'SHALL WE PRAY"

Wrong. We are public servants and have to speak to the press. Now that all depends on how we are approached. There are rules that apply when giving statements. The job always looks easier from the outside looking in. I wonder how many of you would do anything different. At that level you have to know how to play the game. The chief is doing his best. He could have left, but he did'nt. If its so bad your welcome to find employment somewhere else.

All this trash talking, do you stand up
And speak out to defend yourself and others? I doubt it. Grow up and just do your job. Maybe instead of being a critic come up with a plan to be helpful.

HERE IS A PRAYER FOR FMPD

A Prayer for Hope


Heavenly father, I am your humble servant,
I come before you today in need of hope.
There are times when I fell helpless,
There are times when I feel weak.


I pray for hope.
I need hope for a better future.
I need hope for a better life.
I need hope for love and kindness.

Some say that the sky is at it’s
darkest just before the light.
I pray that this is true, for all seems dark.
I need your light, Lord, in every way.

I pray to be filled with your light from
head to toe. To bask in your glory.
To know that all is right in the world,
as you have planned, and as you want
it to be.

Help me to walk in your light, and live
my life in faith and glory.

In your name I pray, Amen.

Happy Easter

God our Father, We give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old.

We pray for young fathers, newly embracing their vocation; May they find courage and perseverance to balance work, family and faith in joy and sacrifice.

We pray for our own Fathers around the world whose children are lost or suffering; May they know that the God of compassion walks with them in their sorrow.

We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice.

We remember fathers, grandfather, and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us with their love. Amen
