    Police Memorial

Just wanted to thank Fort Lauderdales elected and appointed leaders; Mayor, City Commisoners, City Manager and Police Chief for not taking the time to come out and pay respect to the 12 fallen FLPD Heros and their families, and comrads today. I know you were busy and it would have cut about 20 minutes out of your busy Friday work day. And you wonder why no one respects or has confidence in you. David Herbert was the only one with enough balls and class to show up today.

I agree, but unfortunately if briefing was not held there only 20 or so officers would have come

12 officers have paid the ultimate price for the City of Fort Lauderdale, the very least the elected and appointed leaders could do it show up for 10 minutes and honor them and their families. The citizens keed to know that the people who represent them hate the Police and we should realize these representatives may be a reflection of what the citizens really think of us. We are far too worried about preserving our relationship with the citizens, where have the citizens been during our contract fight, they could crare less. The citizens don't care about any of us and we need to realize this.

Most citizens have said publicly that they support us. But they don't sign off on our contract, genius. Whatever Jack or anybody sells you, it simply comes down to Naugle and the commission. It doesn't matter what Gretsas or the citizens say, they have no vote.

Yeah I could not believe of the lack of brass there. Props to the Cpt for showing.

What the F#$k is going on here? This is "supposed" to be a first class city. Police and Fire casualties should be treated with NOTHING less than the utmost respect from the TOP down. This is pathetic. And before you little wormy scumbags start saying "well they knew the job" go F yourselves. You dont do the job because you CANT do the job. Dont hate on us because you are a weak piece of SH&t!!!
