    Multi-Million Fire Station Considered by Commissioners

    Sarasota County Commissioners are considering a multi-million dollar proposal to rebuild a fire station

    They don't have alot of choices....the "old station" is on the ground now and they are in a temporary station until this new one gets built....

    Ditto!!! There are several stations in Manatee built general steel tough, near the water with the appropriate wind rating. However, I doubt they would ever be good enough for us here in Sarasota. I am surprised they aren't trying to out do the new manatee station on 26th.... (nick named the Taj Mahal.) Hmmmm...
