    Ban this guy now!

Ok, is anybody else sick and tired of this guy who has posted on every thread about supposedly getting a ticket from a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Deputy for "picking his nose while driving"? He's flooded our entire board with his anti-law-enforcement bull****. Is there any way to ban his IP? First, Troopers had nothing to do with his incident (if it even happened and he's not a full-blown 20, which is what I'm inclined to believe) and second, if you got a damn ticket you don't think you deserve, take it to court and leave us alone!

    ban

    Yes.

    Hello.

Are you afraid of a little honest feedback? Is that what it comes to?

I have not used any names. I am not slandering anyone.

A board like this is mostly idle, over the long term... so my posts will get archived. It seems like a lot of posts now, only because you're reading during my posts. Come back in 2 weeks when I have moved on, and you all here can go back to crying why you can't make $0.02 more a year.

My point about picking my nose is that the laws are arbitrary and arbitrarily enforced. Where I came from, picking my nose wasn't illegal. However, to find out that it's only RECENTLY been made illegal here, it's $100+.

How about intead of banning me, you attempt to talk to someone who is not part of the B&T clan?

Yes, I realize that PB/WPB is not FHP. But the PB was on a state road. Where I CAME FROM, this wasn't normal. State was on state, local was on local. Besides, my point was this the PB yahoo would probably want to move on to FHP.

Not your problem now, because you choose to ignore or ban me... but it may become your problem tomorrow.

    Your choice?

    to trooper

    Trooper:

The exit to my aparemtn complex is at a light. There is a sign that
says "NO RIGHT TURN ON RED".

I've been behind police cars who are just leaving the complex,
they're not going with their lights on to some exciting shooting
at the local publix. Why do they get to break the law?

The PB deputy sheriff that is, in my opinion, justdgement impaired -- actually told me to CALL THE POLICE if I see someone speeding.

So, his advice to me, after pulling me over for picking my nose, was to call
the police whenever I see someone breaking the law. Right. I guess,
I could pull off the highway every mile to report the cars going 100+.

Honestly, what are you afraid of, trooper?

To be honest, I don't even know why I'm baiting this guy, but against my better judgment: What the **** was the state statute written on the citation? Can anybody (who preferably hasn't been to Oakwood or South County in the past year) tell me what the state statute is for picking your nose? I must have missed it, damn. I need another 6 months of academy.

    point

    *sigh*

I can see my attempt at humor has failed on at least one... so I'll speel it out here for those who may come afterward who might also just not get it:

    (1) drive for 20 years, no citations for anything... but pick your nose
    while driving.
    (2) move 4 states... see other people picking nose while driving
in all states... figure, sheeeeeit, must just be normal.
    (3) end up in florida. pick nose while driving, not knowing that
    florida recently made it illegal
    (4) get pulled over for picking nose while driving, being *truly*
unaware why being pulled over. not even try to say wasn't
picking nose -- honestly states didn't know picking nose
was while driving was illegal in florida... say it didn't seem
to be illegal in any of the other 3 states in 20 years prior.
    (5) being browbeat
    (6) receiving TAX citation.

Now... there's more to this than I can say here. I've probably
already given far too much information and put my safety at risk.
but, here it comes.... replace "picking nose while driving" with
something that's just about as absurd, but that was recently
made illegal in Florida. Ok, the citation wasn't actually for
picking my nose, ya know? That's a colorful use of language
    almost like a metaphor.

So, after all this happens.. take a trip back to one of three states
previously lived in.. and see someone picking their nose while
    driving!

So, whatever. got a citation. the main issue is the browbeating.
I don't care if I got a citation for picking my nose, that's not the
point... but you seem to have missed it.

point #1: seemingly impaired judgement by officer
    point #2: brow beating.

Now, there's a lot more to this he said she said than I have said...
    but there are also witnesses.

If you're still having trouble comprehending the points, please ask a
specific question and I'll see what I can do to obligeeeeeee you.

    sad

sadly... the paperwork is buried at home.
I don't know the exact statute, but it is legit.
I looked it up after the fact... but the issue
is not the statute. If I had known it was
illegal -- by god -- I wouldn't have done it.
Regardless, I'm willing to pay a lawyer
10x the fine amount just to fight this
    *S*T*U*P*I*D*I*T*Y mostly due to the
    behaviour of the officer.

Honestly, I don't trust this place to use my
real name or give any more information --
including the real statute as I'm sure you
or someone would put things together.
This happened a while back, so I'm not
just reacting to something that just happened.

I wrote down a statement just after it happened
due to the browbeating... again, there were
witnesses that would sign the statement or
write their own. I have called IAD and will file
a formal complaint when I move out of the
state. Until then, I just don't feel safe. The
judgement of this officer was such that the
more I spoke at him, the more threatened
    I felt.

I'm leaving the state as soon as I can.

I don't mean to spam this board. My posts
will fade away (if they're not stripped). But
I wonder how many other people will receive
the treatment I did (citation aside, that's not
    the point).

Dude, its got to be the move-over violation. Apparently our laws don't apply to everyone, and if you've "driven for twenty years" in other states you can just do whatever you want on our roads, **** the laws. I'm going to drive with a radar detector in Virginia, since its legal here its got to be ok there, too? Right? Right?

    no....

    no. again. miss the point.

    officer .... impaired.... judgement.

The thing that I did... lo and behold.. is and was done in Virginia
where I learned to drive. :-)

Radar detector in Virginia? Hmmm. Last time I looked into it,
Virginia had this nice arrangement where it was legal to SELL
a radar detector, but it wasn't legal to own one.

Granted, Virginia has its own messed up laws... trying to
remember, was it harboring a Christian or simply walking
your pig down mainstreet. Yes, Virginia, even you too
can be a member in the stupid laws club.

How upset would you be if you were in a parade showing
off your pig and some yahoo Virginia state trooper
gave you a $300 citation for walking your pig down the street?

You'd probably be rather shocked. Now, if he browbeat
you over the issue, you'd probably feel like I do now.

but you're right... maybe where you grew up on the
farm, it wasn't illegal to walk your pig down mainstreet
and yes, you should be given a citation for breaking
the law... after all, what do you think, Virginia's laws
don't apply to you (just because you're in a parade?).
Maybe next year the legislature will pass that exclusion,
but until then, $300 please, or the officer will get some
    ribs.

    Want to try another state?

It's legal to pick your nose. The Nose Pickers Association lobbied heavily against the "Nose Picking in Motion" statute and it did not pass.

Fight the ticket in court. Print a copy of this thread and bring it with you as evidence. I guarantee you'll win.
