Turning The Page
The theory behind unions is that they are a united voice representing the interests of the workers in a given profession. Well, the PBA was voted out by 73% of the workers at the Sheriff's Office so there is no dispute what the workers have determined to be in their best interest. If any of the union supporters feel ANY anger in regards to the results of the decertification vote, then they fall into one of these categories:
1) "I know 73% of the workers voted to oust the PBA but they are too stupid to know what's good for them!" - You are a pompous ass and you believe a few "elites" should decide what is best for the unintelligent mob.
2) You shot your mouth off and now you have nowhere to go because you are too arrogant to admit you were wrong.
Either way, you are wrong. And that's that. The experiment failed. Let's take the advice of Bob Seger and "turn the page" on that chapter of The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office History. Let's get over all the whining and rationalizing about how or why the PBA failed. The fact is this: it failed. HCSO supporters should not rub it in the faces of the former union supporters and former union supporters should not be complaining about the union failing miserably.
Next subject.

You continue with that pathetic rant. Let's dispose of it.
Even if it were true, Mike is the best leader that the union could muster. Therefore, the union failed. It still adds up to the union failing.
It wasn't wanted here. The vote proved it.
Move on.
